Senior Money is a multimedia consumer-education program for senior citizens. The 105-minute video and companion website covers reverse mortgages, scams, identity theft, and estate planning.

CENTS’ free in-person presentation covers how to identify and avoid scams and what steps you can take to greatly reduce the likelihood you’ll be scammed.

According to the Committee to Prevent Elder Abuse, senior citizens are scammed out of $2.9 billion a year. Because most of these crimes aren’t reported, that could be just the tip of the iceberg. CENTS responded to this national epidemic with Senior Money, a 110-minute educational video, companion website, and in-person presentations with materials.

This program features Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson and the Honorable Karen A. Overstreet (ret.).

If you’d like to request a free in-person presentation, please contact CENTS.
