The non-profit organization CENTS is pleased to announce the creation of Money Steps, a free financial education program for persons who have been incarcerated and are facing reentry.

This project, funded by the Bench and Bar Fund, is the culmination of teamwork by Western District of Washington judges, court staff, U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services, attorneys, and financial professionals, with program input from formerly incarcerated persons.

Money Steps consists of a ten-hour video class series divided into twelve chapters, materials, and resources.

The entire project can be found at www.MoneyStepsProject.org.
