Programs and Projects
1. Innovo: CENTS’ personal financial management instructional course, Innovo (Latin for “to renew”), was designed for bankruptcy filers.
2. Money Sense: this class will help you take control of your financial situation to achieve financial goals (such as home ownership) and/or overcome a money challenge (such debt).
3. Smart Borrowing: Developed pursuant to a grant from the national Consumer Projection and Education Fund, Smart Borrowing is curriculum in the form of a DVD and workbook that helps consumers make wise borrowing choices.
4. Debt Clinic: CENTS sponsors and assists the King County Bar Association in the administration of the Debt Clinic, which provides clients who are considering bankruptcy or face other financial management challenges an opportunity to speak with an attorney free of charge.
